Everyday I would find him there, the corner near the entrance. In fact, everyone, who commuted via the station, did.
No one knew when he came, whence he came, when he left or when, if ever, he slept.
He never disturbed anyone and no one ever bothered him. He just sat at his spot.
Many a time I thought of asking his name but was generally running late. So never got around to it.
That day was like just any other. I came to the station, saw him, thought about him till terror of the pending meeting took over. Couple of hours later I had to rush back. I saw the police putting his body in a bag.
No one knew who he was. Thousands saw him sitting there, today, yesterday, everyday. And it were the ants that told us he had been dead for hours.
